Katie Herod, Principal
With 15 years of product, marketing & sustainability experience with some of the most admired brands in the world, Katie brings a broad, multidisciplinary skillset to her clients. She got her start as a marketing manager at K2 Sports before pursuing her MBA at Kellogg School of Management.
Following her MBA, Katie spent 10 years at Starbucks within the product and marketing organizations, leading multi-billion dollar product categories and launching products with global reach.
With a deep dedication to climate and the environment, Katie shifted her focus in 2021 towards corporate sustainability. Her expertise lies at the intersection of product, marketing, and sustainability, and she now helps her clients develop, test, and launch new sustainable products and programs that customers crave.
Katie lives in the Seattle area with her restauranteur husband and 3 young kids. When not with a client, you can find her outside soaking up the immense natural beauty of the PNW either hiking, teaching her kids how to ski, or growing fruits & vegetables in her backyard.
